My new picture book from Scholastic is out at last!

I'm thrilled with the warm, endearing illustrations by Tull Suwannakit and feel that, together with the Scholastic editorial and production team, we have created something very special, with a wide appeal to children of all ages.

Heart and Soul is the story of Charlie, an elderly musician, Louis, the dog he rescued from a shelter, and the music they make together. But when misfortune tears them apart, Louis becomes a bewildered and homeless lttle stray ...until the day that music once again comes into his life. The story has its poignant moments, but it is rich in friendship and love and it does have a happy ending!
